Central Texas Museum of Automotive History (Smithville, Texas)

The Central Texas Museum of Automotive History was founded in 1980. It traces the evolution from the high wheelers and steam buggies of the turn of the century through the boxy utilitarian cars of the late teens and twenties, the classic era of the late 20’s, 30’s and 40’s, the dream machines and land yachts of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s, and the transition of the highly efficient aerodynamic sport and passenger cars of the 90’s and beyond. The collection normally has over 130 vehicles on display, with additional vehicles available on a rotational basis.

Frick Art & Historical Center (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania)

The museum and its collections are the legacy of Helen Clay Frick, daughter of Henry Clay Frick, one of America’s greatest industrialists and art collectors.
In 1997, the Frick’s carriage house, in which the family’s personal collection of cars and carriages were kept, was expanded to create the Car and Carriage Museum.
After the turn of the 20th century, the development of the automobile profoundly changed American life. In the Car and Carriage Museum, visitors can travel back to the time of carriages, see some of the first horseless carriages to have an impact on Pittsburgh and learn about Pittsburgh's role in the developing automobile industry.

Alfred P. Sloan Museum (Flint, Michigan)

"With more than 125,000 artifacts in our collection, the Sloan Museum’s collection ranges from prehistoric stone implements to antique textiles and prototype automobiles. The Museum’s Perry Archives house an extensive collection of photographs and papers that document Flint and Genesee County’s rich history since 1835.
Sloan Museum's Buick Gallery and Research Center features over 25 classic and concept Buicks, Chevrolets and other locally built automobiles. Regular feature cars exhibited include our five concept cars designed by Buick: 1951 XP-300, 1954 Wildcat II, 1956 Centurion, 1963 Silver Arrow I, and 1977 Phantom. A Hellcat Tank Destroyer built by Buick during World War II is also on display. "

America's Packard Museum is the world's only restored Packard Dealership operating as a museum, and only full-time museum dedicated exclusively to the Packard Motor Car Company, its products and philosophies.

Antique Automobile Club of America Museum (Hershey, Pennsylvania)

The Museum collection currently numbers over 150 vehicles, all of which have been donated. Exhibited vehicles are rotated regularly. At any given time, you can see 85-100 of these classic cars and trucks on display. Collection vehicles span almost a century of American motoring from the 1895 Chicago Motor Benton Harbor to a 1977 Chrysler Cordoba with “fine Corinthian leather” seats. You’ll also see trucks and special vehicles like a 1924 REO Funeral Hearse and a 1935 Autocar Atlantic Tank Truck, as well as rare vehicles like our four magnificent Stearns-Knights and a pair of 1917 Pierce Arrows that were “retired” to the museum after decades of use.
In 2008, the Museum forged a partnership with the Antique Motorcycle Club of America, opening the AMCA Gallery with an exhibition featuring vintage bikes from 1884 to 1973.
