Museum Information
DESCRIPTION
Saab Car Museum’s collections contain around 140 cars, of which approximately 70 are on display. The first of them is the Saab 92001, better known as βUrsaabenβ from 1947. Most cars have their history with the company after production and fall into categories such as prototypes, test cars, company cars, racing cars, and so on. Here you can find everything from the folk home’s Saab 92 to the prestige cars Saab 9-4X and Saab 9-5.
In the summer of 2026, a large part of the museum’s car collection will be shown in the temporary exhibitionΒ The Box, fromΒ 6 June to 30 September.
In a unique environment with traces of Swedish industrial history, you see Saab’s cars from a new perspective in modern premises. The museum opened its doors for the first time in 1975, in the basement under the old Saab-ANA retail facility. At Saab’s 50th anniversary, a new museum was opened in the NOHAB area, and we are still here today, more than 10 years after Saab Automobile’s bankruptcy.
