DESCRIPTION
The National Historical Museum, created in 1922, is one of the most important museums in Brazil, consisting of over 287 thousand items, among which the largest numismatic collection of Latin America. The permanent exhibition, “From Early Travelling To The Automobile” tells the story of the country’s form of travel, from the sedan chair carried by slaves to the automobile. Among others there’s a Protos which was used in Rio de Janeiro in the early 1910s
