Harold Warp Pioneer Village

If you are a history buff, or have any interest in Americana or industry, you'll surely benefit from a trip to Pioneer Village, south to Minden, Nebraska. Here within 20 acres, are over 50,000 pieces of Americana in 26 buildings. Many of the buildings were plucked from their country settings and restored here. Modern display halls hold selected treasures. Most of the antiques are arranged according to when they were used. Pioneer Village boasts one of the best and most historic car collection in the country. 350 automobiles mark their evolution, starting with an 1897 steam car.

Hastings Museum of Natural and Cultural History

The Hastings Museum brings to life the natural and cultural history of Hastings, Adams County and the Great Plains of Nebraska. From horse-drawn buggies to horseless carriages, Hastings Museum’s antique vehicles provide an intriguing look at the vehicles that have moved us for more than a century! This exhibit includes a homemade wooden bicycle, the first hearse in Adams County (built in the 1880s) and a 1912 Rauch and Lang automobile with an 80 volt electric motor.

In 1964, Josiah K. Lilly III entered a world of collectors fascinated with vintage cars and the preservation of antique automobiles. Over the years he and his wife searched country for cars that played an important role in American history, such as the 1913 Ford Model T, and rare cars that demonstrate the highest levels of auto design, like the 1930 Duesenberg Model J.

Highbanks Hall of Fame National Midget Auto Racing Museum

"The museum is located in the heart of North Central Kansas where the long lasting racing tradition continues each July. The "Belleville Midget Nationals" continues each summer as one of the nations biggest and richest midget races in the country. Past, current and future racing stars use the "Belleville Midget Nationals" as a stepping stone to our nations top racing circuits like the Winston Cup and the IRL. The museum features a "National Midget Auto Racing Museum" to honor the greatest midget drivers in racing history.

More than just a display of historic automobiles, it's a journey through time! Over 75 historic autos displayed in 36,000 sq. ft., including the world's largest collection of presidential and world leaders limousines, John Dillinger's getaway car, Elvis Presley's personal car, Indy cars, TV Land cars and movie cars such as the Batmobile. Kids will love the Turn-of-the-Century Room with old west style stage coach and other period vehicles.
