Țiriac Collection Reopens In Romania

OTOPENI, Romania, 20 November, 2025 -- Ion Țiriac, former tennis player-turned-businessman accumulated a collection of around 400 classic cars, which are regularly shown at such prestigious events as the Villa d'Este Concorso d'Eleganza and the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. In 2013 he has opened the Țiriac Collection near the Bucharest Airport. It is one of the most prestigious museums in the Central European region.

Following a brief expansion project, the museum has reopened on 20 November. Floorspace has been doubled, so there are 320 cars being displayed - previously there were around 180. His oldest car, a 1899 Hurtu now received its own space. In addition to classic cars there are collectors' items such as a 1 of 10 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS Tribute to Transfăgărășan "Hero Car", which was built to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Transfăgărășan Pass and three of the four cars which are part of the Bentley Romanian Athenaeum collection, created by Mulliner.

The gallery welcomes guests Friday through Sunday, between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM, with access granted based on entrance tickets available for purchase directly at the venue.
