Museum of Nature and Technology "Ekomuzeum" Jan Pazdur
The Museum of Nature and Technology was established on January 1, 2001 by decision of the Starachowice Poviat Council. It is therefore the first museum created in the 21st century in Poland. The facility covers an area of 8 hectares, where the objects of two chronologically successive blast furnace plants are located. Among the attractions you can find cars manufactured by the former Star Factory . They include: the first of the entire STAR 20 family and the off-road STAR 266R which participated in the 10th Paris-Dakar Rally in 1988. The museum also features a replica of a popemobile on a Star chassis, which was used during the First Pilgrimage of John Paul II to his homeland in 1979.
